Hey Students
Looking for something to do during those cold, boring winter months? Come and join the Ski Club! We have tons of fun, get outside and make great memories...We take all levels of skiers and boarders, even beginners, and would love to see you there.
We will having a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 26 in room 406 immediately after school to hand out contracts and sign people up. Don't miss out! Come see what we're about or we'll be having all of the fun!

Student Handbook
The AHS Parent/Student handbook can now be accessed electronically at the AHS website www.aps4kids.org. Should you request a hard copy, please do so no later than August 2, 2010 at our AHS Bookstore (812-6534), There are many changes this year concerning electronic devices, attendance, and dress code. Parents and students are responsible for knowing the contents of the information included in this handbook.
STI Home Plus
Parents of AHS students will have the opportunity to monitor their student's grades, attendance and class assignments through STI Home Plus. At registration, parents can apply for their STI Home Plus password which is needed to access this website. All that is needed is a photo parent/guardian ID (a copy will be made for verification purposes).
Parking
Students must purchase a parking permit for the opportunity to park on campus. Assigned parking spaces will NOT be allocated and students may park in any authorized student parking lot.
Parking will be on a first come, first serve basis each school day.
Permits can be purchased in the Bookstore from 8:00 - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday for a $5 fee per vehicle beginning August 2nd. You must complete a "Vehicle Registration Form", bring your drivers license, vehicle registration and show proof of insurance.
Parking permits will be checked daily beginning September 13, 2010 and throughout the school year. If student DOES NOT have a permit, they will not be allowed to park on campus and may be towed AT OWNER'S EXPENSE.
Lockers
You must have your CLASS SCHEDULE in order to obtain a locker. Please review your class schedule and decide on the most convenient location for your locker.

Book Club meets on Thursday in room 404 at lunch. Bring lunch and we’ll talk about books!
Mock Trial gets you out of school, traveling to Las Cruces and Albuquerque, and helps you experience the law first hand through arguing cases based on real issues and incidents. It helps you prepare for college and meet some real attorneys and judges. Get your lunch and bring it to room 400S every Wednesday for Mock Trial Training.
